EVALUATORS NEEDED

Player evaluation can be one of the most difficult tasks for a Minor Hockey Association to deal with. It can also be the foundation for which an Association is built upon.  In most cases, player evaluation is used to ensure that players have a reasonable opportunity of being selected to a team appropriate to their skill levels.  But just as important, it helps to form teams to maintain balanced and competitive play, where the athletes can develop and participate equitably, and have fun playing hockey during the season.  As with any Association, Surrey Female Hockey is dependent upon its volunteers to make this happen. 

If you're an individual who possesses a strong hockey background, including extensive hockey playing and/or coaching experience, and would like to offer your services as a "Player Evaluator" this upcoming season, simply  click here and let us know a little bit about yourself, and your choice of Division, if any. The evaluation schedule can be found here.  Be sure to include a phone number you can be reached at.  Please note: You cannot evaluate a Division within your own daughter's age group, and in fairness to the players, you must be prepared to commit for the entire two-week period.   Of course, all time spent evaluating is applied towards your yearly volunteer hours.
